regarding how much movement there could be in the draft. The expectation among many NFL teams

is that the 2026 draft will be one of the more trade-heavy drafts in recent memory, according to

multiple league sources, specifically on the defensive side of the ball, edge, cornerback, and linebacker are all strong

and deep while wide receiver is typically considered to be the most talented offensive

position.

Several executives I've spoken with believe we are likely to see a flurry of activity in the

first half of round one.

Additionally, because this specific draft lacks depth in the later

rounds, many teams plan to pursue extra day two and day three picks per league sources. The lack of

later round depth I have seen will move markets. It will have people be more active. I also think

the Bears at 25 based on what Ryan Poles has said about he not having

as many players on his draft board, really could play into this possibility.

Yeah, I won't 100% agree with that.

I think this could work for trade up and trade down scenarios because when you're sitting

there and there's a guy you love, say

the bears have 10 guys with round one grades that they would be willing to take. And there's

one left. You have a blue chip player and he's there at 20. There at 21. You're sitting at 25.

You fall in love with this guy. I'm saying like, say, Monroe Freeling drops, you know, obviously
