LeBron says, I won't rule it out when asked about returning to Cleveland.

Got asked a lot of questions about his future.

He says, I don't even know when I'm free, which I kind of doubt that LeBron isn't quite sure when he'd be able to leave L.A., especially given what's going on now.

Let's talk about that statement because you are so – I mean, listen, we can say he's too Machiavellian, that he's too much angle shooting, but no one's going to say that LeBron is not thinking through the angles.

And one of the shows today, I think Kendrick Perkins said, the guy hasn't made almost a billion dollars for,

you know, being dumb. And that's absolutely correct. I mean, like, he's not, he's a, he's a strategic

thinker. And, you know, I mean, was Westbrook to the Lakers strategic? Yeah, he had a plan. It was

wrong, it looks like, but he thinks

these things through. And my question is, by saying, I don't know when, I think the most basic

element of a contract in the NBA is how long is it for? How long are you locked into this team?

And to say that the most basic rudimentary part of his

contract of employment he's unaware of is not only absurd, why is he saying it? Why is he saying it?

I think he's saying it because he doesn't want to seem as calculating as he is

because he's gotten some, somehow they did some PR work and figured out people didn't like it.

So now he's acting like, yep, I'm going along for the ride.

I mean, come on.

And then that's my question to you.

Does this seem like by begging off that he's being strategic by saying he's not really, by saying I don't even know when the contract's over, is that a sign he's worried about seeming too strategic? No, I don't think so. I mean, I can't. Well, why would he lie about that then? I've got no clue why. I think maybe just to avoid the line of questioning. And I think he knew that when the game was in Cleveland, he was going to be asked about. Well, wait a minute. If you wanted to avoid, you're saying he didn't want to. Listen, this, boy, I think you're wrong. Let's just stop a second. Think about what you're saying. Okay. LeBron is a savvy interview. He's been in front of the camera as long as a lot of the listeners have been alive.
