The Vegas lead is Jimmy G because, one, the NFL is king, but two, the reports we're hearing

on what they're not getting in offers tells a heck of a story, and it's not a positive one

for Jimmy G. Yeah, reports are emerging that the 49ers have not gotten the trade offers

they've hoped for while pursuing a potential

trade for Jimmy Garoppolo. I think the question is, what is the fair asking price for Jimmy

Garoppolo? Okay, I think that's well said. Let's set up a few assumptions here, and then

the statement is going to be strong for me. Okay, the contractual situation is very positive for the 49ers,

which means modest dead cap money.

So getting rid of him doesn't come at nearly any expense.

So it's 1.4 million dead cap and 27 million of cap savings. Or that's on 27 million in total

outlay that is going to have to be made, is cash expense. So that means that the team

takes them is going to have to pay 27, both on the cap hit and in cash.

That, to me, is not advantageous to the team that receives him.

Jimmy G. at $27 million is not cheap.

Is he expensive?

Maybe a little, to be honest.

I would say he's a little towards the expensive side. Would you agree
