as a pompous and disliked teacher at a boys boarding school.

The Holdovers is the second collaboration between

Giamotti and director Alexander Payne. The first was the surprise hit movie

Sideways. He asked Payne how his acting had changed over the past two decades.

I'm like, was I better? Was I better? Was I even better than I used to be?

And he's very cagey about it.
