I'm kicking myself now as I hear DMX coming back there. I meant to ask him about entrance music. I meant to ask him about that. I thought about it, but here's the difference, though. Like an entrance music for a start. It's way different for a reliever. That's a good point. Then he might think I'm painting him in that reliever corner, which he clearly didn't want to be painted into. No, I think he wants to be a starter, and I think that's the right call. Like, see if that'll work out for you. I think he would be an unbelievable late-inning closer guy, but he's young, so, like, start him out. Maybe he'll be a great starter. I agree. Reading between the lines, I think he wants to be a starter. Yeah. And the organization wants him as a start. Well, oh, you don't think so?

Well, as he said, he's like, my read on it is they kind of pitch me everywhere in the spring. I think, I think he gave us a little clue that they were, they were looking at him in potentially different roles to help the club at some point. Do you think that's how they're looking at him individually or that is them looking at him

knowing they have seven other starters? I think it's more the second thing. I think it's more like

what can we do to maximize our roster. So like they might think he could be a starter and will be a

starter because they didn't need to go, like say the Suarez signing ended up going towards like Pete Alonzo or something. Like that contract went to Pete Alonzo. Now you don't have Suarez. And now you're starting the season with probably Oviedo or maybe even Tolly in the rotation. It could have been early and totally in there. They've got to both been in there. So I think, you know, we've talked about this a lot when it comes to

pitchers like that who have come up. And there's been a bunch just with the Red Sox

where you're like, all right, long term, a great starting pitcher is incredibly valuable.

But a, like a fourth or fifth starter, valuable, but a lights out closer. Now that, like,

that goes up. That to me is even more important. Yeah, I mean, look, I agree with you. But obviously everybody doesn't. I'm looking at the Twitch chat right now. And they were asked at the beginning of the, oh, ask Peyton Tolly about your dumb plan to put him in the bullpen or dark and stormy nights. Jones, you're just trying to put a glass ceiling on Peyton Tolly.

Like, no, how many times you're going to see it with Jonathan Papalban and Garrett Whitlock?

And I agree, if he's a lights out starter, it's way more valuable as a starter.

I'm not saying it's irrational for the Red Sox to put him in Worcester and leave him stretched out.

I just think to help the big club right now and knowing what they have for organizational

pitching depth and, you know, the second you start relying on your depth, the second it evaporates

and goes into the ether, I get all that.

And I understand the other side.
