I've known Bob Kravitz for a while now.

We have not only sat near one another in press conferences or on press row.

He is a far more accomplished journalist and sports writer than any stratosphere that I will ever see.

However, also been around him in social settings. and so I can read him a little bit,

and I could read from afar his incredulous nature to the answer that Shane Steichen gave.

Now, Eddie, before we bring on Bob, I want to play again, Shane Steichen's answer.

This was yesterday in the Colts Press conference.

We played it for you earlier when Bob asked Shane Steichen to react to the allegations made by Pat McAfee

of the Colts having players that were late to meetings, late to practices, and having a

kind of laissez-faire approach at times to things.

And Shane Steichen had this to say.

Yeah, I think with any team, right,

not everyone's going to be on time every time, but there is accountability and guys are held

to a standard. And that is talked about in-house. And when the standard isn't, you know, not getting

in the playoffs, you know, it's frustrating. So it's frustrating for a lot of people, myself included.

And that's where we talk

about the standard just being raised so we're not, you know, in these situations. By the way, first

off, the fact that he, and I think it's a Freudian slip, said the standard is not making the

playoffs. Uh-huh. Like, wait, wait, what? Yeah, what? Yeah. Bob Kravitz joins us now on the Express Pro Tire and Auto Guest Line.

Bob, are you as incredulous a day later as you were when he said it?
