Bob Kravitz joining us on the program now. Colts Camp underway and Bob, hard to believe,

that they are coming towards the end of Colts Camp just because it seems like yesterday that

things were gathering out in Grand Park. Let's get right to the matter at hand from yesterday,

and that's the Josh Downs injury. A lot was made out of the fact that Nick Cross was involved in

that. Do we

overthink the potential of like, oh man, what's going to happen with Nick

Cross that he committed this egregious tackle in seven-on-seven that led to the

injury of Josh Downs? So let's begin from the cross side of things because

safety is a position of need and where does Nick Cross stand?

I don't mean because of that, but just where does he stand in terms of this wide open position

within that room?

Well, I think he's one of three guys who's buying for that spot.

You know, it's funny a couple of years ago when he was drafted i had people telling me that

this guy was the real deal and no he got the starting position pretty much out of camp and then he

played what three games and lost his job forever so i don't know that i trust him in that position. I don't know that I trust any of those

guys. If they don't, if they don't sign Justin Simmons, it is, it's amazing. It would be

amazing to me because here's the guy who was a pro bowl safety last year he's not

ridiculously expensive you saw a quandary digs got from the tennessee titans i mean this is a week

a weak area for them and to me they've got to go out and get Justin Simmons and bring him in here.

Bob, in terms of the setup for Anthony Richardson at this stage,

what would have been your observations through him?

And is this potentially, if you, let's say, eliminate downs for the first two weeks?
