He is a friend of the show that we talk each time that the Colts and Jaguars become

topical amongst one another, and that is always the case when you're getting ready for a year

in the NFL season, and you're looking at the AFC South and how things stack up.

J.P. Shadrick is with Jags.com, and let's get right to this in terms of the Jaguars.

For those of us that are not JP, like around it, obviously all the time,

things through camp in terms of health for Jacksonville

and where they picked up from last year,

their assessment or their overall grade of the offseason would be what?

I think the overall grade of the off season, you know, B, B plus somewhere in there.

They feel like they got a little bit sturdier, hopefully, on the offensive line.

They certainly got more veteran on the offensive line by

bringing in a guy like Mitch Morse to play center. So that was a big priority. They didn't

have the offensive line together they wanted last year except for like the last game of

the season. There were so many injuries up front. And then that just caused other issues. Trevor

Lawrence was banged up later in the year.

Christian Kirk was hurt later in the year. They just had things kind of fall apart late in the season.

So the offseason was about getting sturdier up front and on the defensive line as well.

There's a whole new defensive scheme here, a new defensive coordinator.

So they moved to a

four-down lineman look and move it a couple pieces around on the linebacker level. And they've

got some new veteran faces in the secondary as well. So they got a little bit older. I'll say
