He is quickly emerging his way up to the top for top-fueled dragsters in the NHRA.

Just 48 points out of the championship that he is chasing, which would be because Tony Stewart,

you've won a championship in every single thing you've ever strapped into, right?

We've been fortunate enough to win a lot.

I don't know about everything, but we've given it a shot.

And I wanted to get to this, and I just think this is brilliant. And I don't say that a lot about people from Columbus, but, you know, I will hear, right? And rightfully so. You know, so the U.S. Nationals, which for those that have never been, I think it just is an absolute bucket list item in India, especially, you know,

when under the lights, I mean, it's awesome. It touches every sense. And I love everything about it.

And when I knew that you were coming in town to talk about it, I thought, well, wait a minute,

the U.S. Nationals is always like around Labor Day, this year, August 27th until September 1st.

And I love the fact that you had the wherewithal to say, yeah, but we got to let people know about it well in advance so people can plan for it, which is so much smarter than just like, hey, it's going to be tomorrow, and people already have their weekend plan, right? That's what I've been telling Josh over here. That's why we're here today. It's great. You're spot on.

I mean, no, honestly, because and I get that from, and this is what I like about it, I think it shows that Tony Stewart is a racer, but yet you still have the mindset of Tony Stewart the kid as a race fan, right? I mean, does that, and we're a promoter too. I mean, I have a dirt track. So, I mean, we, we think about that from our standpoint of promoting our races as well. So it is. It's nice to come in early and talk about it, especially knowing it's a holiday weekend. So everybody's making plans because it's kind of the last hurrah before summer's over. And, and, and, but it is, you know, Going to indie for U.S mean that's that's the daytona 500's the super bowl it's the indy 500 for for drag racing so it's our biggest race

of the year and for me it's a home home race obviously so means that much more to me but um yeah

you know having the opportunity to start on Friday night with a

night qualifying run. There's nothing better than watching nitro cars. The funny cars and the top fuel

cars run at night and seeing the flames out of the pipes. The flames in the dark is unbelievable.

It is insane. So I always like the night qualifying sessions. and then we got, you know, two more days

of qualifying after that. So it's definitely an awesome weekend. And, you know, it's just that

marquee event that you circle it on your calendar every year, not because it's a home event,

but because it's the biggest race for NHRA during the season and that's the one you want to win.

What fascinates me is this, you know, on the year, so Tony Stewart, you're in a situation where, and I remember the last time we talked, I think, even. You know, when you first got into these cars, I don't know that anybody, including maybe even you, knew how long you would be running in the top fuel in NHRA. And yet here you are and in this year, you've

already, you know, you've already got two wins on the year. You've advanced past round one and I think
