Certainly hope everybody is safe after the storms last night.

I mean, it was rough.

And again, I'm going to say what I said off the top of the show.

And you'll probably hear me say it again in an hour, for that matter.

But it is easy to, and I certainly do it as much as anybody, poke fun at weather people in the wintertime,

you know, when they forecast snow storms, because snow doesn't necessarily, it's a nuisance for sure,

but it doesn't, more often than not, it is not something that is of, you know, life risk,

so to speak.

I know there are exceptions, but you get what I'm saying.

I knew for probably two days I had heard about the possibility and the likelihood,

better way of saying it, of severe weather taking place on Wednesday around 8 p.m.

is when they said it would start. And lo and behold,

they were off by maybe 40 minutes, 45 minutes. And the number of people that I know,

you know, my neighbors included, my parents certainly included, Shannon included, that were in their basement or in an interior area of their home when literally tornadoes were touching down in the metropolitan Indianapolis area.

And the professionalism and the composure, but more so the accurate knowledge and instantaneous as it changed information that was being distributed by Angela Buckman and Sean Ash and Todd Claussen and Chris Wright and Brian Wilkes and Lindsay Monroe and everybody who works meteorologically and obviously within the WIBC News Center as well,
