Chap, I'll get right to the big question at hand, and that is,

I felt like, and you tell me if I'm being too critical, too knee-jerk to in the moment,

the Jonathan Taylor play is one that afterwards when Shane Steichen said,

look, he's one of our leaders and those things happen,

even if you think that and even if it's accurate,

you have to at least display that there's going to be some sort of accountability

for a play that even though you don't put the season into a play, you can

in that situation.

It was a disaster.

And that was the beginning of the end.

And to me, that personifies exactly what's wrong with this franchise.

But I want you to tell me if I'm being too critical.

No, but I don't know what the accountability is for being a bonehead play.

Benching, that seems extreme for one play.

What about just simply saying, hey, that's a play that we cannot have,

and I'm going to talk to him about that, and we will certainly work through that,

but he needs to know that that is absolutely

inexcusable.

I think he could have been, Shane's second, could have been more assertive act of the game.
