So this is what used to play back in the old brown curtain days after a pacer game.

Literally the actual band was there playing it to get people to come out.

And then everything changed when the Pacers and Nix and the playoffs became a thing and the city fell in love with it.

And here we are.

Now once again, Pacers and Knicks, NBA playoffs, Eastern Conference semifinals,

joining us to talk about what happened last night and look forward as Scott Agnes from

Fieldhouse Files.

And Scott, it's what we live for, right?

It's why we trudge through the gray, dreary days of November and the cold frozen days

of February to once again recapture the magic that is May and Indianapolis of Pacers and Racers

and the New York Knicks are an important ingredient in that. It's fun. Yeah, absolutely. Isn't that

special to have it right back in our city? And obviously, the fever and the Caitlin Clark element

that probably will even outdraw what the Pacers are doing, quite frankly.

Yet at the same time, I go back just from a big picture, what the last 10 years, Jake, have been like for this franchise.

And you just think about all the dark moments, all the injuries that didn't allow for the iterations of certain teams to see their full potential.

And because of those dark moments,

I think Pacer fans and the team as a whole can appreciate what they are feeling today,

all that more. Scott, how unique is what's happening with both these franchises and the fan

bases themselves, especially people, you know, around my age group and yours as well that

like were infants or were kids when this first happened, the Pacers, Knicks first iteration

with, you know, Reggie and Ewing and Starks and the Davis twins and Jackson, like all, all those

names for when that series happened, it's bigger for the Knicks to some extent because they didn't
