That was a highlight of my career. Here's my favorite Johnny Parsons story, okay?

Now, you don't know that I know this story, but I'm going to tell it anyway, and it preceded me on the radio network. But all the guys that I work with on the radio network still tell the story of the day when there was a new sponsor. There was a new sponsor that was involved, and they were handing out samples, right?

So they get up in the morning. Everybody gets up in the morning in the hotel to go and head to the racetrack, and they're all driving there, and Mike King or Mark James, and one of them says, Johnny, I got to be honest, man, everything all right? You look terrible. Your hair's tousled? Do you look like you look absolutely awful? and you said, man, I didn't sleep at all last night.

You said, what do you mean?

He said, I didn't sleep at all last night.
