Welcome back to Undisfeated, a very special day today. Happy Veterans Day, everybody.

As always, on Veterans Day, we want to acknowledge and thank all of those who have served.

Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for your service. Shannon, I know this is a day that

means a lot to you. Why is that? What does Veterans Day mean in your world?

Because men and women give up, put their lives on the line, spend weeks, months, some time years away

from their family so we can be protected and spend time with our family. And sometimes I think it

goes unnoticed. I think sometimes they think they're not appreciated and maybe sometimes they're

not appreciated to the fullest. But I want to say from the bottom of my heart and from my family

and the FF1, that we appreciate your service. So to all the young men and women that have served,

to all the young men and women that's currently serving, I appreciate your service.

I appreciate that. And allow me to tell you a quick story. I'm old enough to have experienced

getting to listen to my two uncles when I was about 10 years old, my uncle Bob, my uncle Bill,

who both fought in World War II. My uncle Bob fought at Iwo Jima in the Pacific Theater.

Hence the Japanese, obviously my uncle Bill fought at Guadalcanal in the Pacific Theater,

also against the Japanese. They were both wounded. They both obviously lived to tell about it.

But it drove home the point to me as a kid because it wasn't that much after what had just happened.

We were at war with Hitler and the Germans and the Italians in the European theater.

And all of a sudden we get surprised attacked over here. Now we're at war on both sides.

Right. And we won both of them. Yes. And it gives me goosebumps to talk about it because what if we

hadn't? Where would we be as a country today? What if we'd lost both those wars? Man, I hate

even think about that. Seriously. So from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate everyone who served

past tense and is serving present tense because it's the essence of our freedom. Yes. It makes America
