This is the best of outkick the coverage with Clay Travis on Fox Sports Radio.

It's not just that Carson Wins has been the best quarterback in the NFL.

It's that frankly, at least to me, that all three of the second year guys have now eclipsed

so far the guys who are in year three that we thought might be ready to take the next step

and contend for division titles.

James Winston is two and four.

I know statistically he has put up some decent yardage totals, but his team is two and four.

And this is a bottom line business.

And right now in the NFC South, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in last place.

And we'll see whether or not they can get back into the mix and make a run to potentially

can fit contend for this division title.

But I think it's fair to say that given all of the additions that James Winston had on the offensive side of the ball,

expectations were that he was going to take a big step in a positive direction in terms of contending for a division title.

Meanwhile, Marcus Mario has not been healthy.

And look, I know that James Winston also has the spring to AC joint and his throwing shoulder.

So he hasn't been 100% healthy either, but Marcus Mario does hamstring is all messed up.

And we just saw one of the worst football games to ever be played in the history of the NFL between the Browns and the Titans.

Now the Titans won 12, 9 and overtime, but Mario has not been very good so far now to be fair to Mario to this offensive play calling has been atrocious as wide receivers have not necessarily been healthy.

And he's only played six games because he missed one with an injury and he's four and two in the six games that he started.

I feel like if he had stayed healthy, probably the Titans would have gone on the road and beaten the dolphins so that potentially could be five and two.

So the results are good, even if the overall performance has not necessarily made you think, oh my god, Marcus Mario is incredible.

So we'll see the Titans are on by week here.
