I am blown away by the game that we saw last night that ended early in the morning on the

East Coast. Tennessee beats Georgia Tech 42-41 in double overtime. I was there in Atlanta,

still a little bit in disbelief that Tennessee which gave up 535 rushing yards that Georgia

Tech which carried the ball 86 times. 86 different times they ran the football. The amount

of plays that they ran was extraordinary, almost 100 plays and Tennessee which was outgained

by nearly 300 yards in total offense wins it on double overtime on a attempted two-point

conversion by Paul Johnson's Georgia Tech yellow jackets there and really still kind of

in stunned disbelief over the weekend that was in college football. Thursday, Friday, Saturday,

Sunday and then Monday, five straight days and many of those games coming down to the

wire. I didn't necessarily believe that we could have a almost wilder maybe it was wilder

game than the one that we saw at the ending of Texas A&M at UCLA out in the Rose Bowl.

But we may well have seen it in this game in the process. We talked about Kevin Sumlin,

the demand that he be fired by one of the regents on the Texas A&M board. Well, butch

Jones may well have at least stepped out of the firing squad for a moment because had

Tennessee lost to this game and there were a lot of signs that Tennessee was going to

lose this game. I think if you are a man, if you are anything other than a Tennessee volunteer

fan or you were gambling on them some former fashion, that is one of the wildest things

that I have that I've ever seen. I don't think Tennessee deserved to win this game at all,

but they found a way to do it. And I'm still stunned that they won this game in particular.

I don't know what was going on with butch Jones, but I tweeted should butch Jones be fired
