All right, free agency predictions. We'll do this every day until NBA free agency actually starts.

So that is today, tomorrow and Friday. When we come back out of the weekend on Monday,

we'll see whether or not any of these free agent stories have actually started to break.

And obviously, I'd encourage you to follow Fox Sports Radio because as the stories do break,

it's probably the last big story of the summer. As we move into, it's not that far till NFL training camps will officially open up,

but this is the NBA's last turn on the sports stage.

And so we'll see exactly what ends up happening, but in terms of predictions,

my prediction right now for the big free agents, and I've been on this and it really hasn't changed.

I think Durant's going to go to Golden State stay there. I think he probably will end up signing a five-year extension.

And if he decides that he doesn't want to stay with Golden State in the future, maybe he gets a trade setup with the Nix or

the Nets or wherever he might want to go. But obviously, it doesn't make sense for Durant to sign with the Nix now.

To me, it doesn't do his rehab. The Nix are going to be bad. Why go ahead and sign up with them right now.

It's possible Durant just to opt in for one more year and postpones his free agency the next season.

So he can wait and see how the lineup and power dynamics of the NBA may shift in the meantime.

That's probably a pretty smart strategic decision. But if I were advising him right now,

I would say go ahead and take your five-year guarantee because you're coming off in a kill. He's tendin' injury.
