the Stanley Cup final was set last night with the Washington capitals for nothing when

over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

And let's start on the other side of the equation.

The Western Conference champ is the Vegas Golden Knights.

Is it good or bad for the NHL in your opinion to have a first year expansion franchise

that one that started the season 500 to one to win the title now favored to win the Stanley

Cup?

I think it's great.

And the interest in Vegas right now Clay is something unlike anything I've ever really

seen in my career covering sports.

The enthusiasm, I'll give you a quick story.

I was there covering the practices on the off day between James three and four of the

Western final at the Golden Knights practice rank.

And they had to actually put up a gate effectively at the souvenir shop there and only let it

in ten or twelve people at a time because of the fire code.

That's how many people were showing up there on a weekday morning to buy Golden Knights

souvenirs and equipment and gear.
