Their celebration as muted as possible. They had no entrance in the Western Conference Championship other than the fact that it gets them to the NBA finals.

And now they have the opportunity to rest for 10 days until they will go play against probably presumably unless there is one of the greatest collapses in the history of the NBA.

The Cleveland Cavaliers where they can finally get vengeance with their new buddy Kevin Durant on the Cleveland Cavaliers for a three to one series collapse last season.

On the other side of the equation, we had an NHL team that no one anticipated would win a single series.

They were huge underdogs against the Chicago Black Hawks, the Nashville Predators beat them 4 to 0.

They were underdogs against the St. Louis Blues. They had Nashville Predators beat them 4 to 2 and last night at home in what has become known colloquially as Smashville.

The city of Nashville took down the Anaheim Duck 6th 3 win in one of the most raucous environments you will ever see inside of an arena in this country.

And the celebration I am sure is still going on in Nashville now setting up what will be one of the wildest weeks of entertainment that any city in America will have anywhere at any point in time with the Stanley Cup finals set to overlap with CMA Fest.

If you know anything at all about CMA Fest, it's basically when every girl in the South and beyond comes to the city of Nashville in her sundress and cowboy boots and every boy in the vicinity of Nashville with a belt buckle shows up gets drunk and cheers on country music combined that with the best of Canada.

And you've got SEC party lifestyle meeting Canadian party lifestyle all rolling into one as I tweeted last week Nashville may well set a record per capita for plan B consumption.

There's going to be a whole lot of drunken sex going on in this city. What an incredible scene for Nashville got me thinking too.

I went back and looked at the statistics. It's rare that a major American city gets the opportunity to join the list of teams that have the cities that have won championships.

Most every American sports city out there that has multiple pro sports franchises has won a championship at some point in time and I confess that I'm not an expert on this.

But I looked at my list and if you've got one that I'm missing, you can let me know. But right now I believe of the teams that have at least two major pro sports franchises.

I'm not counting the MLS yet. Okay. And this in this category. I'm just counting obviously major league baseball, the NFL, the NBA and the NHL.

The only two cities I can think of off the top of my head that have not won championships. I'm tossing Vegas out the window obviously because they're NHL and NFL franchises haven't started.
