We spent a lot of time earlier this week talking about the absurdity that was the decision by the University of Iowa

to go ahead and suspend for the remainder of the season.

Their radio announcer because he referred to a black basketball player as King Kong. Do we still have that audio?

They said that they announced they will reinstate play by play announcer Gary Dolphin beginning with coverage of football spring practice and they said he'll also return for football and men's basketball.

The reinstatement like the suspension was made by this the school in conjunction with the people who.

Gary Dolphin has served as voice of the Hawkeye since 1996 he was suspended Friday that's last Friday for the remainder of the men's basketball season for an inappropriate comment during the broadcast of the Iowa game against Maryland.

And here is the audio for which he was suspended.
