Hey, everyone. It's Brett just starting the show today with a special apology for the last episode.

I know I led a lot of you down and if you didn't give up on me immediately, I appreciated that you made it to this episode.

I just wanted to say I do apologize for all the stuff I said about COVID.

It was very flippant and cruel and was something that shouldn't have been broadcasted.

I let myself get carried away. You know, I also drank on COVID, which something I hadn't done before, which creates an interesting scenario.

But what I said was a lot of frustrations, mostly guilt I have about what the fuck I'm personally supposed to do about this thing.

I know there's a lot of best practices and I know there's a lot of ways that this could be fixed.

But I just feel like in America, not everyone's getting vaccinated and even the goddamn Democratic president doesn't give a shit about those people or about the kids or anyone else.

So I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I was, you know, felt guilty and also feel like there's a level of scorn that's treating this thing like a personal responsibility issue,

which happens a lot in American politics. And so I just wanted to bash back against that. And because Horentina ended my marriage and I'm not a person that is comfortable being inside.

So I did not handle it well at all. And I really fucked up and I'm sorry if I let you down.

And I'm definitely reading all of the comments and messages that are coming in and taking them in. And I will attempt to grow and do better in the future.

But I just wanted to step in and say something before you think that I didn't care or don't care about your opinions or what you think about this.

I also wanted to say that actually I do like dogs too. I used to brag on them, but I realized recently that hating dogs is kind of stupid because they're pretty fun. So Brian peer pressured me into saying I don't like dogs.

He said he still doesn't like dogs and he's not going to apologize for his stance on dogs because he was bit by so many of them as a cable guy and his parents dogs sucks.
