And what I wanted to do is we get set to preview the college football playoff.

Coming up next week, we'll be in Miami for Georgia, Michigan.

What I wanted to do is I wanted

to take a little trip back down memory lane and I had the guys dig in the archives, Bama Cincinnati,

Georgia, Michigan. What have we been saying all year about these teams? If we were wrong, then let's

show how stupid we were. If we made some good points, let's take this rare opportunity right around

Christmas to praise ourselves.

Because Christmas, as I've always believed, is about patting yourself on the back and helping others, 50-50 either way.

But what I did is I looked at the Alabama specifically early in the season and even pre-season and the Alabama talk that we had on this show because there was

the Miami throttling they had in week one and it looked like oh Alabama's just going to cruise.

We didn't think that was going to be the case on this show.

We talked about how Bryce Young ultimately could end up being a great player.

This team ultimately could end up being a national champ, but we thought that there were going

to be some wobbly tire situations for Alabama even if they rolled in week one. Also, there was a lot of talk,

and you'll probably remember this. After Sabin has what could very well be his best team ever in

2020, there was a lot of talk about what else he had left to prove, and we had strong feelings on that.
