How is this run for you as a former player who's been to a few Eastern Conference Finals

and, of course, a part of the 99 squad here that came up just short?

What has this been like few as a former player watching what's unfolding at 33rd and 7th at the Mecca?

It's been unbelievable. You're loving it. The fans have been so engaged. They've been, they've been supporting. They've been showing up and showing out. And just to see the guys out there the way they played, they really enjoy being with each other out on the floor. The way they share the ball is just unbelievable. Yeah, it's interesting. Look, I've been a Nick fan. I'm born 69. I was not old enough to remember 73, obviously, and Earl the Pearl and and Frazier, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, but I do remember 99 very, very well. There's a big debate now, now that the Knicks have made it to the NBA finals,

you know, comparing teams. It's what we do. It's like what we get paid to do. Well,

however this team have done against that team. Basketball is totally different. Obviously,

27 years ago, but you played on that 99 team. Are there any similarities that you see

from this team back to that team or are totally different? I mean, it's totally different. You got to understand this Nick team, they were a 3C, the 99 team. We were 8C. You know, we were fighting just to get into the playoffs. And by the time we made it into the playoffs, we were rolling. Were you beaten down pretty good? Or you guys felt like you went into the playoffs. You made it all the way to the finals. But going into the playoffs, was there a feeling amongst the guys, all right, we're healthy, we've kind of figured our crap out, we're good enough to make a run or no? Well, that season was a 50-game season. So you were doing back-to-back-to-back games during that year. So I would definitely say we were pretty beat up.
