Yeah, I know tough night to look for you last night. We'll get to that later on. We called you earlier this week. I just wanted to do some Yankee baseball with you, but also wanted to give you the opportunity. I don't know if you had spoken publicly about the loss of the great John Sterling, the longtime voice of the New York Yankees. And I want to give you an opportunity just to share your thoughts about John being a New York Yankee, going on all those road trips with John on the plane and on the bus. and when he came up with the A-bomb by A-Rod, what it was like for you here in John Sturong do your calls.

No, I mean, just a true legend.

I mean, I remember my first year when I came with the Yankees, 2004, and he were driving down for my first game, I think the Red Sox, four Myers, where the tickets

were going for like $35,000, $4,000 behind the plate. And John told me he was the first big time

game for the Yankees. And I said, John, what are you talking about? He's like March 1st. He goes,

well, for the boss, two games he cares about, no matter

when it is, it could be Christmas Day, the rest off in the mess.

But just truly an incredible human being, a historian of the game.

I mean, this guy's a cow rift of broadcasting, I mean, 30-plus years without missing a game.

And, you know, I heard you say it.

When you were replaced for a couple of times, he made you feel good.

He called you.

That's exactly who he was to me.

He was an awesome man.

I always wonder, were you as a player aware of the home run calls as soon as you became a Yankee?

Did a lot of the guys talk about the home run calls?

Did you guys ever, I know it's going to sound egotistical, but I don't view it that way.

Would you guys, like, on the bus ride, you know, ask one of the guys on the team, hey, can you get me a copy of the call so that you could hear it? Or were you guys divorced from he and Susan because they're broadcasts as your players?

No, no. I mean, look, I think when you have guys with Michael Kay, Susan Waldman, John Sterling,

they're the soundtrack of the New York Yankees. And especially, Craig, in big moments, you want Kay, you want John Sterling on the call.

And they're so passionate about it.
