But before we get there, there is a topic that we felt like we absolutely had to address.

Brian Kelly was recently on a Notre Dame podcast.

It was addressing a lot of different

things and figured now would be a better time than any to start talking about how that all unfolded.

Treb, I really went into the day intent on I'm just not even going to. I'm not going to watch.

I told people I wasn't going to watch. I said on the board, I'm not going to watch that mess. And just so we're clear, when I say mess, when I say how it's BS, I have no problem with the guys that interviewed Brian Kelly. Like people get to run their podcast, however they want. I mean, you all know I wouldn't do it because of how I feel about the man.

But obviously, my relationship was different than theirs. And that's okay. So there's no criticism going to be offered here of like, you know, I wouldn't have done it. But, you know, look, they want to have them on. Awesome. Great. That's fine. Do your show the way you want to do your show. That's what I love about this is everybody can run their shows however they want to run their shows.

We do it our way because that's what we're good at.

They do it their way because that's what we're good at. They do it their way because that's what they're good at. So none of this, and I don't want it in the chat of people taking shots at the question askers. I want to focus on what was said by Brian Kelly. and I just want to get that out of the way right now. I did end up giving in and watching parts of it.

this is nothing more than Brian Kelly looking to whitewash his career, use his political background to put out just PR slop, as Trevor said in a text message to me. That's exactly what it was in an attempt to rehabilitate his career because as he said in a thing,
