We are talking about the 2026 Notre Dame wide receiver room continuing with our 2026 position room preview.

I, for one, am very excited to dive into the wide receiver room today, Brian.

I know that's been a hot topic of conversation between portal additions and departures and people coming back from injury. We now have Notre Dame's updated height weight list. Some people grew, some people shrunk height and weight wise. So definitely going to be a very interesting conversation today. Folks, we're going to start this out by in part one of today's show. We're going to just be talking about the room as a whole, just a preview of the 2026 room, talk about expectations, talk about the Mike Brown, what Denbrock's impact is going to be. Then in part two, we're actually going to be diving into the roster talking about that. And then part three of today's show, we're wrapping everything up with a mailback. So as the show is going on, be sure to get in your questions, comments, concerns. We'll be happy to answer those once the show is over. But Brian, 26 wide receivers, man, hot topic. Before we begin, however, we're going to bring up a mailbag question at the beginning, because missed this yesterday from USMA 876 and he said

mailbag is there anything better than being a new grandfather and yesterday I meant to bring this up during

the show and I completely forgot by the time we got to the end of the show but he announced yesterday he is

a new grandfather he had his one of his kids had a child yesterday and before we move on, I did want to congratulate you on being a grandfather.

As far as being anything better, I have no idea.

My dad seems to pretty much dig it a lot.

So, yeah, my dad's been a much more fun grandpa than he was a dad.

You know what I mean?

So he gets to be the cool guy now but we appreciate

you norah elaine he said is her name so congratulations so much man we're super happy for you and

i'm sorry to not bring this up yesterday i saw it and i was like oh that's awesome i'm gonna bring it up

completely forgot so i do apologize but i think that's a great way to start the show trev

is we have a new hopefully noturday name fan in the world so we wanted to congratulate usma on

that one before we dive in today they show that's that's awesome news buddy congrats congrats

now we can get into the wide receiver room well let, let's do it. Let's do it, man. This has been a hot topic of conversation, really in South Bend, the last couple of seasons. And the outlook has been different going into every single year. Some years it's like, oh, kind of need these guys to pan out. Oh, hey, this room is loaded with talent. We've kind of heard every conversation in between.

But the moral of the story is, is Notre Dame is still going to need their wide receiver

room to perform at another level.
