Brian up next on the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to by our friends over at Fandul. We're still talking the NFL draft. We just recap the players that were just taken in the 2026 draft. Six Notre Dame guys, handful of others got picked up as undrafted free agents. Couple others are getting the opportunity in rookie mini camps. And in the case of Jake Telfsky,, multiple opportunities at two different rookie minicamps.

But now we're going to start looking ahead.

We get a lot of questions and a lot of BISO holds about what could this draft class look like?

Could C.J go at this spot?

Could Leonard Moore go at this spot?

So we figured now that spring practice has come to a conclusion and the NFL draft has now came to a conclusion,

we can look ahead and start having a little bit of fun and projecting about what Notre Dame

has the ability to do moving forward.

And you and I are both people that believe that Notre Dame is about to go on a run here

in the next couple of NFL drafts.

Yeah, it's certainly setting up to be that way, Treve.

And as you kind of look at at what Notre Dame is positioned to do, you and I were talking about this and we were kind of prepping for the show and thinking about, you know, like we're doing mock drafts.

We're looking at mock drafts.

And I don't know how much value I put in 2027 mock drafts.

They're more for entertainment purposes.

But as we started to look at it, Trevor, I counted today of the.

And when I say reputable mock drafts, I'm still talking about people that like are connected in some ways, form or fashion to,

like a website or whatever. So there's like a USA Today, the one that came out. There's been

CBS sports. There's, you know, for the different draft sites, there's the Walter football ones,

which are, you know, but I counted there are seven different Notre Dame players that have been mocked to go in the NFL

draft. And I've seen four of them have been mocked to go in the top 15 that I've seen.
