I just heard a story of a 15 year old who volunteered. The first wave of Americans

and Allied troops to hit the beach, 90% of them were killed, instantly dead on that beach and I have to wonder today across this

On that day, 160,000 U.S. troops and Allied troops hit the beaches of France.
