When you're at school, did you touch people?

And there's actually a question from Matt Lee about this.

Oh, is there? They're not allowed. Let's do that. Yeah. So Matt Lee says, following on from this,

what are your thoughts on these new rules and what are some of the strangest rules you've seen

introduced at schoolwork, etc. And this is the Essex Secondary School, which bans pupils hugging

and having relationships.

And any physical contact at all. I mean, it is ludicrous.

I agree with you. One of the, you know, one of the things that I love about young people is,

one, they're so articulate and interesting when they're talking about political things, as we've said.

And secondly, they're so open about, I mean, I about political things, as we've said. And secondly,

they're so open about, I mean, I'm not sure if it's the same post-COVID, but what I always find

amazing about my boys and their friends is they all hug each other. I think that's absolutely

lovely. And I'd hate to see that finish. I mean, let's, sorry, let's, let's pour a slightly

bit of cold water on this. It is also, of course, the case that schools have been the place

where lots of young women have found themselves the subject of assaults and harassment.

So if that's the direction they're coming from, well, okay, there is

an issue that needs to be addressed here. But it would be such a shame if young people

couldn't carry on behaving in that lovely well. And if you say that you can't have a boyfriend or

a girlfriend within the school, I mean, if you think about it, I mean, a lot of workplaces are discouraging

relationships between members of staff. Where are people going to meet people in future,
