Because there are so many people whether

they are in coaching whether they're in front offices whether they're in media who want to create

this mystical complex sense that football is something that the mere mortal can't process and can't

understand and can't even begin to

comprehend. So don't even think about trying to take one of our jobs. You're never going to

understand what we do. What we do has special powers and qualities and mental capabilities that

you'll never possess. So don't even try. And then you just got a couple of guys that go out and play

football and run to where the other team isn't. See an opening and take advantage of it. And

complement with it on the fly. That's the equivalent to drawing it up in the dirt. They didn't even

bother to take the time to draw it up in the dirt. They communicated, they adjusted, do it, do it.

It's that simple.

Sometimes.

I'm not saying it's simple all the time, but sometimes it really is that simple, and sometimes it is that understandable.

And sometimes it makes football kind of refreshing that, you know what, it is guys just out there going to the places on that 100-yard by 53-yard gridiron where the other guys aren't.

No, I mean, that's what's refreshing about watching like Mahomes or Josh Allen. It's not that way always.
