And Melinda Hill, who is known as the queen of dating online. Well, it's because she has a web series called Romantic Encounters, which is really all about her dating. Right, exactly. So she's going to tell us a story about a particular dating experience. I think it's about Facebook is what it's about. It's about dating and the Facebook age.

I think that's exactly what it is. Ooh, that made it sound really, that sounds highfalutin. The Facebook age. Especially the word highfalutin, that's very popular. Yeah, the kids love the kids love the ought 90s thing where they say, ah, buy crickety. Now here's the thing. I loves me some interweb. Here's the thing about my story.

It's titled the dating game because it's about me going on the dating game when I first got to L.A. And I told this story on Storyworthy like two and a half years ago. And in Internet time, this is millennia ago. And so once again, when we're going to do this best of, I like the story, but when I listen

to the way I tell it, of course I hate it. Well, yeah, right. I mean, that is a combination of improving your technique and also the fact that no one can stand to listen themselves to do anything in the past. It's like, this is the thing about, I'm getting back in the stand of comedy, and the whole point is you're supposed to record yourself every time and listen to it, and it's got to help you. And I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate listening to myself do material when I already know what the material is. I can't listen to myself. But why is that? You don't know how to step away and be critical of like, I should wait as long. I think it's incredibly hard for anybody and well no i just but
