1:08.9	Welcome to Storyworthy. I'm Christine Blackburn, and I'm here with Hanna Spinney, and we're coming to you from Christmas Tree Lane in Duarte, California.
1:20.5	Is there really a place called Christmas Tree Lane?
1:22.8	It is an actual street in Duarte, which is just past Pasadena, home of the City of Hope, I believe. Oh, that's right, the City of Hope. A well-known cancer facility. Yes, many years ago, Christine, you as a cancer survivor, not from the City of Hope, you organized a comedy show. Yeah, we used to do a lot of benefits out there. Yeah, exactly. That was an awesome gig. Oof, It's a tough crowd. Am I right? Well, it's just like, you know, yeah, when people are hooked up to things and nobody's got any hair and, you know, see, that's what you can't say. If your joke goes over, you can't go, wow, am I suffering right now? What was my joke not getting a laugh? Oh, wait, no one has hair in this room.
2:03.3	Honest, do you ever hear the term laughter is the best medicine? I mean, do you understand that? I did. You know who doesn't believe that? Doctors.
2:10.3	Ladies and gentlemen, tonight is a best of show. Did you mention that, Honest?
2:13.8	I did not. This is the best of Christmas. Hence our Christmas tree lane. That's right. And tonight we're featuring two stories. The first one is by Taylor Orsi. And you know, Taylor Honest, she's from Los Angeles. Wow. So they actually do have Christmas. She's an L.A. native. That's exactly right. And she's telling a story actually about Christmas Eve. And then the second storyteller is me.
