As it pertains to the Boston Celtics and Jason Tatum in particular, it was always a foregone conclusion that Tatum was going to try to give it a go and return at some point during the season after suffering at a key lease tear.

But league sources just informed me right now that Jason Tatum is now re-evaluating his situation and it is up in the air on if he's going to return at all this season.

I was told that there are a couple of factors of why he's reached that point, but as a right now,

that changes the whole landscape because Tatum even told me personally months back he was

returning at some point.

He was getting ready to return and it was getting ready to return. And it was getting

close. I was hearing it was getting close. And then Leagues sources informed me that the situation

has changed and now it is up in the air if he's going to return or not. That's a wild one. Chris

Haynes reporting that the situation has changed when it comes to a return for Jason Tatum.

And the timing is weird based on what he said on the pivot about wondering how he's going to fit in and wondering, essentially like wondering if they actually want me back or not.

I'm paraphrasing.

But to go from what you thought was going to happen with Jason Tatum to now perhaps he doesn't play this entire season is, is that somebody telling him he's not coming back?

He's not rushing back. Is that Jason Tatum feeling him he's not coming back he's not rushing back is that jason tatum

uh feeling like he's going to disrupt the the chemistry that exists now like what is

where that's out of nowhere i think it's more on him i don't think anybody's telling him he can't

come back if he's healthy enough i think that they would allow allow him. I think that it's a mental part of him wondering if he could, you know,

screw up chemistry or whatever. It sucks because he plays last night, they win that game.

But do you think it's part of, you know, the chemistry thing could be one area, but do you

think it's part like, I'm not where I need to be physically and coming back, I'm not going to be able to be who I know I could be?

And versus where if I just wait until next season, I'll be much better.
