Look, surpassing Wayne Gretzky and breaking the all-time goals record is the lead.

That's going to be the number one moment in the career of Alexander Ovechkin

and maybe non-championship division in Caps history.

But when you form a club at a big round number, like 900, and you're the only guy in the

club, everybody else gets stopped at the velvet rope but you. Pretty amazing evening. They

stopped the game as teammates pour out over the boards to celebrate with Ovechkin. They played a

nice video montage. Both teams giving him sticktaps.

One more celebratory night for the Great Eight.

And a puck behind the Ed Bennington.
