Disney's been pushing subscriber growth of its streaming service, amid mounting losses

to the tune of one and a half billion in its third quarter at reported last November.

Turns out running a streaming platform means constantly feeding a hungry and expensive content

beast.

Eiger has signaled that he's going to shift his focus from subscriber growth to profits.

The question remains, can streaming ever be really profitable?
