Rich Simeini was writing an article about Aaron Glenn and what he's trying to accomplish here,

accomplish here as the New Jets head coach and trying to change the culture.

And we heard Aaron himself say, I want to move in the quiet spaces or quietly and just do my job and keep my head down.

And the beauty of what Rich wrote in his article was the fact that Aaron's trying to create a lot of competition within the roster.

He wants people in here fighting for jobs, and he knows.

It's a former player himself.

The harder you fight for a job, the more competitive you will be on a Sunday or Monday night

or Thursday night or Wednesday night or whenever the NFL has you scheduled.

Yeah.

So he's creating what Rich had termed a meritocracy, which I think is great.

I think that's exactly the kind of environment that you want.
