I am going to mispronounce this young woman's name and I apologize in advance for that because I admire her a great deal

She is Olokemi Olufantu Badenock. She is a British conservative politician a member of parliament

She was born in Wimbledon to parents of Nigerian origin and has risen up to become one of the leaders of that country

And I'm told at least in this week that she is the

Equalities minister or something. Yeah, but she took the floor of

Parliament and had something to say about critical race theory and the rest of it

Do we have that handy? What we are against is the teaching of contested political ideas as if they are

Accepted fact. We don't do this with communism. We don't do this with socialism

We don't do it with capitalism and I want to speak about a dangerous trend in race relations that has come far too close

To home to my life and it's the promotion of critical race theory and ideology that sees my blackness as victimhood and their whiteness as a pressure

I want to be absolutely clear this government stands unequivocally against critical race theory
