Sure, I'm from Nova Scotia in Canada and I was a magician as a teenager,

which is how I first came to Los Angeles because I was part of the Magic Castle Junior program.

No way. Yes, it's true. And that's also how I got into like being an entrepreneur because I needed to make money to fly my way from Halifax to LA.

And eventually that love of magic transformed into a love of movies.
