Welcome back to the Quartet the Day Show. I'm your host, Sean Crox and a Sean Crox and dot com. We've got Dr. George Fraser on the show for our best of 2021 week.

0:43.0

And this episode, the original episode, I posted in February of this year. And if you remember correctly, I kind of lost my head. I went off.

0:55.0

And I remember the day after I recorded asking myself, should I re-record that? Did I go too far? Did I say too much? But I decided to just let it ride.

1:07.0

And the feedback was incredible. And I said a lot. I won't totally rehash it here, but this is a, it's a topic that really is important to me.

1:20.0

And what concerns me is the subconscious mind, right?

1:26.0

The subconscious mind gets programmed by what we hear over and over and over and over again with feeling your subconscious mind gives direction to your life.

1:50.0

People telling us what we can and we can't do. When we hear it over and over again with so much emotion becomes part of our subconscious mind.

1:57.0

2:22.0

It's nothing I can do about it. But the bigger shame is allowing those races, people to keep you from doing what you want to do with your life.

2:32.0

And I said allowing, give them them permission, giving them permission to stop you from doing what you want to do, giving them permission to drive you insane every single day.

2:44.0

They want to be racist, let them be racist, but I will not that what somebody thinks about me because the color of my skin, keep me from doing what I want to do.

2:53.0

Being as successful as I want to become. And I don't think you should either.

2:58.0

So I have a lot more to say, but I don't want to talk you off. I'm going to leave a link to the original episode below if you want to listen to it.

George Fraser coming up.

3:12.0

I've often said, as I speak around the country, sometimes this is specifically addressed to black people.

3:21.0

Sometimes I think that we are searching for a key to an unlock door.

3:27.0

I'm going to repeat that for you. Sometimes I believe that black people are searching for a key to an unlock door.

3:36.0

The door to opportunity is wide open and will cost you little to get in the door to building the kinds of collaborations and teams that we need to succeed and to thrive not to survive.
