So let's go back to earlier this month when things really got heated during the She Believes Cup.

It is a muggy afternoon in Orlando, 87.

First game of the tournament, a lot of excitement, three games in seven days against just about the highest quality opposition you can find this time of year.

She Believes Cup is a domestic tournament, so this most recent edition was England, Spain and Japan.

Then it's three game days full of double headers.

And how did the US do in its first couple of games?

The US Women's National Team did what it usually does, which is win.

It pretty much dismissed England and then a much tighter game between USA and Spain, but still Julie Arts coming through with a clutch goal to deliver them the win.

And then while this tournament was going on, US Soccer released a document that just set off this huge public response.

Forleas, they've handled these proceedings as insulting as US Soccer's legal representation using biological differences to define their stance makes me want to puke.

The US Soccer's lawyers, they really go all in on this new argument that is very much like a biological argument for why the US Women's National Team doesn't deserve equal pay.

And that is because the men who play soccer have more strength and skill than women simply because of biology.
