And the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to be a talking point. The question is, are they actually going to be a great football team? What is all of this for? I'm not sure we actually know the answer. He's Jeff Schwartz. I'm Jason Fitz. We're hanging out on two pros on a cup of Joe on Fox Sports Radio. Jeff, like, the funny thing is I've been saying this, I feel like, for a couple of months

because all we do is keep talking about Aaron Rogers and Aaron Rogers and Aaron Rogers.

And like, there's an unavoidable thing here, right?

The Steelers are going to be this massive talking point all year.

And just like as we started the show today, I said, like the NBA has built a whole empire on talking points that are more meaningful than the game half the time. And I feel like that's what we're looking at. Like at some point, great, you get T.J. Watt back on a mega deal it needed to happen. Great. You go out and sign Aaron Rogers. You had to have a quarterback. All of these things make sense.

But I guess I struggle to figure out how all of these things make Pittsburgh any better than the third best team in their own division. And why are we talking about this much hype over a team that's probably going to be the third best team in its own division? Well, first of all, it's Pittsburgh, right? So the hype is always going to be there. But I think you're, I think the thing that for me, you know, it's very important as a team to understand two things, right?

You want to build the short term and long term, right?

And those sometimes, you know, conflict with each other.

And I want to see your plan, right?

And so the Steelers plan very clearly is we're going all in for this season.

It's a veteran group.

They've signed older players.

They traded for older players.

They built their roster around Aaron Rogers and the defense in Watt and Hayward and Ramsey, right?

And they traded for D.K.

It's all veteran, okay? And there's the Pittsburgh Steelers, right? The Super Bowl or bust for them. And I think they've calculated

incorrectly. They are chasing a short-term fix, which is we're Pittsburgh. We always win nine or ten games, we're always competitive,
