| 0:00.0 | This is an I-Heart podcast. |
| 0:05.0 | This is the best of two pros and a couple of Joe with LaVar Arrington, |
| 0:10.2 | Brady Quinn and Jonas Knox on Fox Sports Radio. |
| 0:17.1 | The dog days of summer are almost over. |
| 0:20.2 | We have suffered through months of trying to figure out how to get to football. |
| 0:25.1 | And by God, it's finally here. |
| 0:27.3 | The Chargers have gone into camp. |
| 0:29.1 | That means we finally get to the spot where we can speculate about everything for every second of every day. |
| 0:35.8 | And for some reason, it feels better to speculate about the sport that |
| 0:39.2 | we all love than it does half the time to talk about actual sports going on right now. |
| 0:43.5 | It's two pros in a cup of Joe. It's actually a Buck and Fitz takeover on Fox Sports Radio, |
| 0:48.5 | having some technical difficulties out of the gate with Buck. He's here, but it's going to take |
| 0:52.4 | him a second to actually get here. We cannot prove, we cannot confirm nor deny whether or not that's just because he had a big night on Lower Broadway. But for the next three hours, we will be taking over Fox Sports Radio. And y'all, I'm just going to be honest with you. Like, things are so slow in this industry right now, in this business and doing what we do things are so quiet that the sbys exist |
| 1:12.5 | and like everybody knows i worked at the espion for years love that place they changed my life |
| 1:16.8 | it's absolutely spectacular but the funniest part about the espies is they exist because |
| 1:21.7 | esPN looked around and said you know what there's nothing else to talk about so let's create an |
| 1:27.2 | award show so at least |
| 1:28.4 | we have something we can put on air and we can put on our shows. That's the real catalyst for why |
| 1:33.5 | the SBs exist. It is that quiet right now. And then you look around and you say, well, wait a minute, |
| 1:39.3 | what's going to change at all? The Chargers going to camp. Now, think about the era we all grew up. If you're a middle-aged person listening to this show at all, we'll allow middle-aged to be defined however we so choose. Thank you very much. But if you're a middle-aged person listening to this show at all, you sort of know what life used to be like. Like there was a period to be the old man on the block, and Buck would be making fun of me for this right now. But there was a period where, like, think about in my childhood, the only way that you knew what was going on with your favorite team, is just real, is you had to go down to the corner store and buy a USA Today. Like you literally had to, every Friday, I would walk down to the USA Today or to the corner store. |
| 2:18.4 | I would pick up my USA Today and they'd have little paragraphs on every game coming up over |
| 2:22.1 | the weekend. |
