Brian, we have a real fun conversation up next year on the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to by our friends over at Van Duel.

And we wanted to come up with some different offseason topics. And one thing that we talked about was kind of like, you know, a look back at like Notre Dame history.

We get a lot of questions about, you know, our favorite team with this or could you imagine combining this team with this team?

And they got us thinking, what are the top five Notre Dame teams of the last 25 years?

And I'll kick it to you here because I know that there was a certain criteria that we use to measure,

you know, and rank these teams.

But first and foremost, this is just going to be a really fun conversation that I'm

looking forward to diving into. Yeah, you know, we want to do a lot more of this over the summer, and we haven't done a whole lot of like Notre Dame history stuff, and there's just certain things we won't be able to get to because it's, it is like, I'm not going to break down. Who's the greatest defensive ends of all time? Because I never saw Ross Browner play.

But it'd be fun to do some of these things, like best offensive.

We're going to do one soon of the best players of the 2000 on offense, best on defense,

and really have some fun with it.

But this one was an interesting one because we've been asked us before about who's the best teams and all these other type of things.

But this one's an interesting one because I think there's a lot of room for debate on just who belongs in this conversation, Rev, of of the best teams because the first three are obvious,

but then it's like, okay, but what order do you put the best three in? And then there's some

debate between like four and five of teams that are that belong in there. And so what we did is we,

we kind of looked at every team from 2000 to 2025.

And then one thing we'll do at the end of the season is we'll talk about where we think

the range is going to be for the 2016 to fit into that, adding that into the conversation,

Travis.

Where do we expect the 2016 to fit in on the high end, which is obvious?

And then what's the floor for what we think this team will be this year and how it will

stack up against these teams?
