The window for franchise tag players is open and why Josh Jacobs could get tagged again with the Raiders, Bloom?

Yeah, this is an interesting question because, let's face it, if we're looking at the last five years of Raiders football,

he's probably their signature offensive player.

And while Zemir White looked good enough at the end of the season,

isn't a better outcome for everybody involved that Josh Jacobs gets a market-level deal

of maybe three or four years that allows the Raiders to control the cap hits,

spread it out.

You know, whether we're looking at this year sees 240-something million cap, like going up about

20 million, I think, early estimates.

So you push the cap pain off into the future and you hope that they can use the tag

if they have to to push those negotiations.

But I don't think a tag is a good outcome for Jacobs or for the Raiders.

And we'll see whether the Raiders are turning the corner into building something or still trying to figure out what they're building.
