Charlie, how about Andrew Alvarez's debut?

Not much of a prospect, not a guy that has high expectations moving forward,

but he pitched, ad subtracted, located.

That's what it's supposed to look like yesterday.

Absolutely, a guy who did not start the year well, but had been coming on.

And so, he's the guy that deserved the chance to show himself in the big leagues with

McKenzie Gore on the injured list.

And that was really nice to see it.

We heard he had a couple of different spins and looks on a breaking ball.

So we saw that,

and he had great command through strikes, and is exactly what they had hoped he would do,

and he did it over five innings and left us all wanting more.

Speaking of McKenzie Gore, what's the latest on him? How is he in his recovery?

Well, he's thrown now three days in a row. So, you know, they shut him down for a few days and now he's been playing catch. I mean, that's a really good sign. You see a guy go on the injured list with inflammation and you're thinking, well, guy's going to be shut down. So how can he make it back in two weeks time? But, you know, we'll see when he gets on a mound and throws a bullpen. That's when you really know. But so far, so good. It's been just a disastrous year, not just at the major league level, but at the minor league level as well. Travis, Sikora, Tommy John, we're still awaiting word on Harley and Susana's MRI, but the other top pitching prospects been shut down

with the same ailment that led to TJ for Sikora. I'm wondering specific to Susana, like what

you guys have been hearing and what the timeline would be on figuring out more on that injury.

Well, we haven't heard anything yet. We're for the same information that that you are at this

point so you know hold your breath unfortunately there's just so many of these uCL injuries and you know

he had a a ucel strain earlier in the year hopefully this isn't related to that and that isn't

something that will you know shut him down down and put him on, you know,
