One of my favorite people to have on this show over the years is Sean Springs, who was clearly one of the best players during some of the down years, even though some of his years here in Washington were productive years with Coach Joe at the helm.

Sean has been doing, I know you've been out at camp observing, because Smoot was on with me last week and said,

if you want to talk to somebody about Trey Amos, I don't see Sean get very excited about people very often,

but he is pumped about Trey Amos.

And I said, yeah, you know, typically you'll get really upset or really animated when the team that you like isn't doing the things that you think it should be doing.

So did they get it right with Trey Amos?

But more importantly, how do you know this early?

Oh, man.

Thanks for having me on. You know, I love having me on. I know. We usually get in

trouble to, but we're in a good space this year, man. We're not going to get in trouble.

Hey, Trey Amos, man, the reason you know, is, you know, for a cornerback or any position, usually

a skilled position in the NFL, you know, when they cornerback or any position, usually a skill position in the NFL,

you know, when they go from college and hear they're great players and then they go to the

NFL, the game is a little, you know, sometimes it might not be the speed of the game that can

get a player, but sometimes it's a amount of information and they're thinking too much,

they're not moving full speed or they're moving too fast,

out of control, or, you know, just, you know, this not themselves.

When I see Tree, it's just like, oh, my goodness, I'm looking at this kid.

And I'm just like, he looks like he's been in the league for 10 years.

He's patient at the line of scrimmings.

Every receiver in camp, obviously, like Terry, he jammed every receiver.

He was under control.
