Basketball season, maybe not quite right around the corner.

We are getting closer.

We're less than two months away from every team having played a regular season game.

We are roughly five-ish weeks away from media day and

the start of training camp it is actually time to start looking ahead and saying hey what is this

season going to look like look like look man i am so excited danny for this upcoming NBA season

i think there's going to be so many cool storyline so many so many cool narratives. I'm like, I really like, we're two months away out now from Kevin Durant, becoming a Houston Rocky, but I think that's going to be like such a fun story to be a part of for this regular season, even for the Phoenix Suns. Like, hey, like, they're not going to be competitive to like a playoff level, but like, that's still going to be a team with good players on there. I want to see how Malawks plays. I want to see how Portland Trailblazers now with some veterans on the roster. Donovan Klingin taking a step forward. And then on top of that, you get shaded and sharp. They got Scoot Henderson, maybe taking them Denny Advia. They have a lot of really good talent. And then you obviously got the San Antonio Spurs taking a leap now with Carter

Brian and Dylan Harper and Spahn Castle and Jeremy Sohan and obviously the great

Victor Wemagnama.

Even teams that are in the bottom five-ish of the West, they all got played in really

good teams to put on the four. Danny, I think that this

is going to be a spectacular NBA season. I couldn't agree more. And as you mentioned, there's a lot

of talent in the Western Conference. And that is where the focus of today's show is going to be

tomorrow's show going to focus on the Eastern Conference. But today we're going to talk a lot about the West and where every team falls in the power rankings. And I do think that this is a very challenging exercise because I think there are a lot of really good teams in the West. I think it's going to be so funny. And I will be on tomorrow show as well, which is why I can confidently say what we're going to be doing on that show. But I think it's so funny what like the bottom of the power rankings on one conference looks like compared to the bottom of the power rankings on the other conference. Because in the West, it feels like in, of course, as you get to the bottom, like Utah, I don't know that there's a lot of reason to be excited about what they're going to look like. They've got some young players, certainly, but they're not going to be a very competitive team, I don't think. And in the Eastern Conference, you've got like four or five teams that are like that in the West.
