Welcome to the Sound of Young America's best comedy of the year special. I'm your

host Jesse Thorne. We've sifted through hundreds of stand-up comedy CDs and

comedy sketches and comedy commentaries to bring you what we think was the best

comedy of the year. We've got stand-up from Parks and Recreations as Z's on

Sorry. We've got a lost sketch from MTV's The State. We've got the great Paul

F. Tompkins coming up. All kinds of amazing stuff. The best comedy of the year. We

thought we'd start this show with one of our favorite young comedians who released

his first record in 2010. His name is Kyle Kenae. Like a lot of comics, it took him

a long time to reach full-time professional stand-up comedian status. While he was

climbing the ladder, he had a long series of difficult and unpleasant jobs.
