My favorite part of this podcast is bringing on a show member and just talking about a whole lot of interesting things.

And this weekend, it's Mike D. What's up, Mike? Good. You never know where this podcast is going to go. Is that the slogan? Yeah, basically. It could be a therapy session and it could be a whole prank that we just never know actually happens. The thing is, you're not even recording right now. You're pranking me. It's true. And I'm going to make you do this for like three hours, just over and over again, like a cycle. What is that? When you watch a TV show or movie and they basically have to go and repeat things over and over again until they learn a lesson. Oh, yeah. Do you know what I'm talking about? Or it's like they're getting mind-control that they're in're in this simulation basically is this a simulation

yes that is exactly what it is i just couldn't find the word for it that's how you actually know

it's not a simulation because i can't get anything right half the simulation is off there's something

wrong yeah something the walls are breaking something's going on we're going to dive right in

this week we had

International Women's Day and Ashley Cook and Chapel Heart both stopped by the studio.

They had killer performances, which you can see on our YouTube page. But I also just love

the conversation with them. It's always fun when we have people in for the first time in studio.

And so those are really cool and definitely cool interviews. I want to talk about if you've seen anyone recently, because these were new to the studio, not necessarily new to the show, but new to the studio. And if you've seen anybody recently and you're like, holy crap and you got a story to share. Yeah, I saw Adam Sandler in concert for the first time ever. Okay. I want to know how that was. I wanted to go and I didn't. How was it? So Adam Sandler is one of my favorite comedians, one of my favorite actors of all time. And he did this special on Netflix a couple years ago where it's part comedy, but really the main thing is music because outside of when he does on the big screen, he just likes playing guitar. He likes writing funny song. That's kind of how he got to start early on even in SNL. So this concert was exactly like that last special that I really loved. He comes out, he does some stand-up, freaking hilarious. He had some cool openers before that. And then he just does a bunch of fun songs, there's a bunch of fun visuals. And the cool part about it, being a movie fan and knowing all the amazing comedies he's done over the years, everybody goes dressed up as like different Adam Sandler characters. Wait, really? Yeah, so there's people like Bobby Boucher, there was other people dressed up like Happy Gilmore, stuff from Big Daddy. So it was a really fun, unique experience that I didn't really

know what to expect going into it because you think he's an actor. Like, what is exactly

is he going to do in a big arena? But it was one of the most fun shows I've been to, like,

live music and comedy combined. So if he ever comes back, you got to go. What I'm picturing

right now in the audience is a whole bunch of basketball shorts.

Was that accurate?

Oh, he even made fun of his attire.

He did? Yeah. He's very self-aware of that. But I love his attire because it's just so chill. He's just like, I don't care. I'm a dad. I'm having a good life. Yeah. But what was like the play to, was he just like joking about himself or joking that people make fun of him for it?
