we're going to get some like a personal update situation out of the way first and then we'll go to some fun stuff.

So somebody asked if you are going to write another song.

Yes, I will.

And I was just thinking about that.

I was like, I need to get on it because it shouldn't take like someone else giving me a goal or a deadline.

You know, it's like I should want to. So yes, I yes I'm going to definitely so are you trying to get in more songwriting sessions what does this look like are you like I'm going to write by myself I really want to try to write one by myself and just see what I come up with oh okay yeah but I mean I don't I don't mind writing with other people but I just want to see what I can do on my own because I have a lot to say. Well, yeah, and it could like shove a little bit in lunchbox who's like, you didn't write it. Exactly. Because that's just never ending. Yeah. That's how it feels about everything, though. Okay. So are you making any money from your song yet? I don't really know yet. I was just going to wait because, I mean,

remember Ray, like from vacation? He said he made like $13 after a year or something.

Well, and how does it work? Do you have to, you know, I have one of my really good girlfriends

as a artist and she does all her stuff independently. And she always has to filter things

through certain stuff to make

money. Yeah. So did you just like release it to the different platforms? Did somebody do it for you?

How did that all happen? I had like kind of label services type company like a like a music

distribution. I use them because I needed it really fast because we needed it like within a week or whatever. And so I just went with them and they helped me put everything on there. And I know there's like an agreement. I think it's probably like 30 70, you know, like they get 30% or something and I get something. Okay. I know there is, but all that confuses me because I know that's also different with labels,

and I'm not on a label. So like I don't have anyone taking a cut from a label. So I don't know. But I was going to, once it kind of gets more traction and there's actually like numbers, I'm going to look into it more. Have you been watching it on the charts too? Is it doing anything else? I know it did a little thing at the beginning. Not really. I know it's been playing in Wichita, like outside of the show, so that's really cool. But I don't think on the charts it's ever gotten lower than it did. Technically it was on all over because of country top 30 too. Yes. Yeah. I mean, those are some spins. Keep looking. Yes. I don't know, I haven't looked. I don't know. Sometimes it's just like not even about that, you know,

it's just like not even about that. You know, it's just like that it's out there and people like it. And so that's just that's cool enough. Yeah. I feel that. It's like part of your dream is happening. So you're focused on that as you should be. I know it's so cool. What about a music video for it? That would be so fun. I'd also thought about that too. You know what? All of this requires, though, is money, you know? Yeah, being an independent artist is pretty difficult. Like, you got to find the money from somewhere. Right. And I'm like, I guess I could look into how much it would be, but I want it to be, like, really good. And so obviously,

you can always do it like a home video, though. Like, who cares? Oh, that'd be cute. Yeah. I mean, home videos are very in right now. Very, like, very retro footage is in. So you could always just like turn it, like take some film and then use like a filter over it and make it like a home video style music video. Oh, that's cute. Oh, you're hired. You want to do it?
